Refund policy

At The Crafting Tsunami, we want you to love your purchase! Because all of our products are custom-made just for you using print-on-demand technology, our return policy differs from traditional retail stores.

CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS

All items are produced specifically for you after you place your order. This means:

  • We cannot accept returns or exchanges on standard orders
  • All sales are final once production begins
  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or color preference

DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item that is defective or damaged, we will make it right.

What qualifies as defective or damaged:

  • Printing errors (wrong design, misprinted graphics, faded colors)
  • Manufacturing defects (poor stitching, holes, tears)
  • Damaged during shipping (stains, rips, crushed items)

What does NOT qualify:

  • Minor color variations from your screen display
  • Slight differences in print placement (within industry standards)
  • Buyer's remorse or change of mind
  • Incorrect size ordered by customer

HOW TO REPORT AN ISSUE

If you receive a defective or damaged item:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number
  2. Provide clear photos showing:
    • The entire product
    • Close-up of the defect or damage
    • The product tag/label if applicable
  3. Describe the issue in detail

RESOLUTION OPTIONS

Once we verify the issue, we will offer one of the following at no additional cost to you:

  • Replacement: We'll produce and ship a new item
  • Refund: Full refund to your original payment method (if replacement is not possible)

Processing time: Replacements follow the same production timeline as new orders (2-7 business days processing + shipping time).

WRONG ITEM RECEIVED

If we send you the wrong product entirely (different design, wrong item type), contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will:

  • Send you the correct item at no charge
  • Provide a prepaid return label for the wrong item (if requested)

INCORRECT SIZE ORDERED

Please double-check your size selection before ordering. We provide detailed size charts for all products. If you order the wrong size, we cannot offer exchanges or refunds, as each item is custom-made.

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

We are not responsible for packages that show as "delivered" by the carrier but were stolen from your delivery location. We recommend:

  • Using a secure delivery address
  • Adding delivery instructions at checkout
  • Requesting signature confirmation if available through the carrier

For lost packages (not showing as delivered), please contact us and we will investigate with our fulfillment partners.

PRODUCTION ERRORS ON OUR PART

If we make a mistake (wrong design printed, wrong product type, etc.), we will:

  • Replace the item at no cost
  • Expedite production when possible
  • Provide a full refund if you prefer

REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days and returned to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders cannot be cancelled once placed, as production begins immediately. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

QUALITY GUARANTEE

We work with trusted print-on-demand partners who maintain high quality standards. Every product is inspected before shipping. If you have concerns about quality, please contact us and we'll work to resolve the issue.
